How to activate and customize the Quick View feature for WooCommerce products
Overview
Shop Maker Pro includes a built-in Quick View feature that lets customers preview product details in a modal popup, directly from the shop page. It displays key information like product image, price, short description, and an “Add to Cart” button — without leaving the page.
When is Quick View available?
The Quick View popup is triggered when using the Shop Products Elementor widget in Creative display mode. This feature is available only in the Pro version of Shop Maker plugin.
How to activate Quick View
- Open the page with your product grid (usually the Shop page).
- Edit the section using Elementor.
- Select the Shop Products widget.
- In the widget settings, set the Display Mode to Creative.
- Enable the Quick View action button under Quick Actions.
How to customize the Quick View layout
You can fully customize the design of the popup window using Elementor templates. Shop Maker allows you to either:
- Create a new Quick View template from scratch using Elementor → Templates → Add New. Use widgets like:
- Product Title
- Product Price
- Short Description
- Product Gallery
- Add to Cart Button
- Import a pre-built template via Shop Maker → Import Templates. These are professionally designed layouts that you can use immediately or customize further.
Assigning the Quick View template
- Go to Shop Maker → WooCommerce Templates.
- Find the option Quick View Template.
- Select your custom template from the dropdown.
- Click Save Changes.
Tips
- Include the Add to Cart button in your template for better conversions.
- Keep the layout clean and concise for optimal user experience.
- Test on mobile devices to ensure responsiveness.
