How to enable and configure the Wishlist functionality in WooCommerce
Overview
Shop Maker includes a built-in Wishlist feature that allows users to save products they like and revisit them later.
This improves the user experience and supports decision-making in longer purchase journeys.
The Wishlist system is fully managed through Elementor, without the need for additional plugins.
How to enable the Add to Wishlist functionality
You can enable the Add to Wishlist button in two ways:
- Via the Shop Products widget (Creative Display Mode):
- Edit your shop page with Elementor and select the Shop Products widget.
- Go to the Style tab and set the Product Style option to Creative.
- This automatically enables two quick action icons: Add to Wishlist and Quick View.
- These icons appear when users hover over product items.
- Via the dedicated “Add to Wishlist” widget:
- You can add the Add to Wishlist widget directly to any Single Product template.
- This gives you full control over placement and design using Elementor.
How to create the Wishlist page
- Go to Pages → Add New and create a new page (e.g. “My Wishlist”).
- Edit the page using Elementor.
- Drag and drop the Wishlist Products widget onto the page.
- Customize the layout as needed, then click Publish.
How to promote the Wishlist page
Since there’s no automatic assignment, you can promote the Wishlist page in several ways:- Add it to your site’s main menu or header for easy access.
- Include it as a new tab in the My Account section using the Tabs widget.
- Use links in product, cart, or thank-you messages to bring users back to their saved products.
- Insert the Wishlist Products widget into any other Elementor-built page to increase visibility.
